| "Local Singer / Songwriter Joins
The Supremes" San Jose, CA. Lisa Dewey, best known as the brilliant singer / songwriter who gave us such ethereal gems as "Hollow" and "Watching Her Fingers" has announced that she has been offered a position in the seminal R&B group, The Supremes. "It just came from nowhere," Lisa admitted, "kind of like that stuff that gathers between the tiles in your shower. You know, that stuff that's really hard to get rid of." The Supremes, best known for their 60s hit "Stop (In The Name Of Love)" and others, recently had one of their members hospitalized due to an unfortunate steamroller accident. "That steamroller just came out of nowhere -- one second it all was clear, the next there was this steamroller barreling down the road."
